Alvin Ailey

This was a long, wonderfully restful weekend for us. Marathon Monday today. Although the weather was rainy and overcast most of the time and the Red Sox blew every game, Friday night Ty and I saw the Alvin Ailey dance troupe up close and personal. What an experience. They even did some Pilates moves -- of course, much, much better than I ever could!

P.S. I just learned that there is a sequel to The Sixteen Pleasures. It's called The Italian Lover and I'm going to see if my library has it; will let you know if it's as good as the first one.

After losing 3 games to the Rays - games we should NOT have lost, I couldn't believe my eyes when I woke up Monday morning & checked the score at 6:30 in the morning. Thought for sure it was just my eyes. Blinked a few times thinking it could not say 8-0 - must be 0-0.

At least today we have Darnell McDonald! Got home just in time to see the bottom of the 9th.

The weather looked pretty ugly also this weekend for you. Not much better here except a little bit warmer over the weekend.

Glad you were able to enjoy a night out seeing the Alvin Ailey dance troupe.

Thanks, Annie! I would LOVE to hear your review of The Italian Lover.

Girasoli- I HEAR you! I know that the Rays are a great team, but come one now - I feel for Papi but I think it's time the Sox look elsewhere for a big bat...
