Mille grazie
Many thanks to all my blogging friends who shared your love of Italy, experiences and information with me. It was truly a trip full of memories made richer with your ingredients - from Giotto, gelato, girasoli and shrines, sandwiches, laundry and leather belts. I will write soon but here are a few images for you!

Welcome home! I've been thinking about you and hoping that you were having a wonderful time. You sure got some nice photos! Of course I love the shrine and the laundry but also those two little girls in pink dresses - awesome! I can't wait to hear all about it!

Thanks, Annie. It's always sad to see a vacation end, especially one filled with many emotions. Always reinforces that I LOVE Italy. These two little girls were running carefree throughout San Gimignano within eyeshot of their parents. They happened to lean against the door in the photo - I caught the photo before they 'fell' into the house! Will be blogging for sure. Have a super weekend - fall is in the air here in the East.
Welcome home! Can't wait to hear more and see more. Glad it was all that you dreamed.
Thanks, Barb. And thank you for your suggestions - Il Frattelini et al. I've already passed them along to other travelers to Florence. Now to review and edit the photos. Time passes too quickly on vacation.
Hi M, Welcome home! I'm glad to hear that you had a fabulous time in Italy. I love your photos. I am looking forward to hearing more about your trip and seeing more of your wonderful photos.
Thanks so much for posting a preview. I also can't wait to see and hear more about your memorable experiences.
Hi K: Thanks. Will post soon. Dealing with jet lag now and trodding through backed up paperwork in work. It was so nice when the only decisions were what piece of art to see or whether to have cappuccino or expresso!
Bellissimo!! I'm delighted to learn that I am not the only one who takes photos of Italian laundry! lol
Love seeing your photos from Italy! I hope you had a nice time and when you get all caught up with everything, you will have time to write about some of your experiences/where you visited/etc.
I know how it is to return to work after being out for a couple of weeks. It took me almost a month to catch up! I also still have a couple of posts I have not yet done from my trip in 2009!
Welcome home!
