So, I'm stumped with this one. So, I've taken the liberty of generalizing to a broader definition -- chipped meaning something broken.. This is a photo of Ground Zero in New York City. Something that was broken in many ways but being renovated in others.

A unique take on the theme. I visited Ground Zero a couple of years ago and found it very moving.
