Once again, Red Sox Nation will be rooting for Pedro...tonight. Hope he can throw as he did last game - win another one for the Phillies! Photo courtesy of NYT
BOO!!! yankees... loved this comment I read tonight on twitter: Please pass me a dull butter knife and a gallon of salt.
I turned the game off when it was 7-1, followed it on gameday (the fake batter up version/not the audio or video version), turned it back when they could have scored 3 more runs with Utley up, and then turned it back off for good. Refused to watch the last out and celebration and am avoiding all photos and video of the celebration... but really I am doing much better than before 2004 :)
Fortunately Hawaii only cares about college football and occasionally professional football so it will just be a blip on the news, even though Shane Victorino is a Maui boy.

Hi Flygirl, I was also pulling for Pedro and the Phillies to win last night.
G: I did the exact same thing. Even the sportscasters here can't bring themselves to congratulate them. Love the comment.
K: Thanks for the mutual support - next year!
PS: How's the packing coming?
