ABC Wednesday: A is for Architrave
ABC Round 10 here I come! I'm joining in the fun. A is for Architrave. Here's one on the Parthenon in Rome. Love this building's architecture. The word 'architrave' is a derivative to two words - one from Greek and one from Latin (how apropos) meaning 'main beam'.

Yay! I'm glad you're joining in and this is a great way to start. One of my favorite buildings in the world - such a magical place.
I think ABC Wednesday is going to be a fun challenge!
Thanks for the warm welcome, Annie!
Hi M, that's very cool that you joined ABC Wednesday. So far I'm really enjoying myself.
I love the Pantheon and your photo is wonderful (love the angle). I had never heard of the word Architrave before. Pretty cool to learn what it means. Thanks so much for sharing.
Love the photo, love the building. Architrave is a new word to me, so thanks for the language lesson!
