Magnolia's Blooming in DC

No, they whisper. You own nothing.
You were a visitor, time after time
climbing the hill, planting the flag, proclaiming.
We never belonged to you.
You never found us.
It was always the other way round.

Gorgeous! My mom used to have a magnolia bush in our yard. Beautiful flowers. I hope you enjoyed yourself in DC.

Well, thanks! DC was fantastic - a great city to walk and be stimulated by the people and museums and memorials. It's a city that has a lot to offer - many families because most 'of interest' places are free. Obama was in Europe the entire time we were there but still some high powered senators were seen around the Capital. Menehune
