PhotoHunt; Technology

OK, it's not an original photo, but it does give me an opportunity to wish you all belated holiday greetings, and apologize for being an inactive blogger lately. Between family arriving from other states, holiday planning, shopping and cooking, and a trip to the ER last week, it has been hectic here in Boston.

This comic deals with medical technology, of which I am thankful (there, I've satisfied my Gratitude Friday post as well) because I suffered, for the first time, vertigo last week in work. It was a little unsettling as it affected my vision, which in turn affected my balance, which resulted in an ambulance ride to the hospital's ER. I'm fine now. Thankfully, the diagnosis was vertigo and nothing more serious. Halleluia for medical technologies: EKG monitors, blood pressure monitors, oxygen monitors, MRI's. All good stuff!

I am soooo glad to hear that you are okay. It is not good to have to go to the emergency - but definitely a time when technology is wonderful. I hope you are better and no reoccurance of vertigo.

I am also very glad to hear that all is ok. I have a friend that has had vertigo a few times. Scary thing to deal with. Hope you are doing better now.

I had my own scare this week - not me but my dad. 2 trips to the ER and then a 2 night stay in the hospital. Thankfully, he is doing much better now. It sure wiped me out this week. I am just now catching up.

Take care!!

I hadn't realized vertigo was that severe, how awful it must have been. Medical technology is definitely something to be grateful for - as is your good health! Glad to know all is well now, and hope you don't have any more episodes of vertigo.

Hi Flygirl, I'm so sorry to hear about your vertigo attack. How very scary for you. I'm glad that they were able to diagnose it with the tests they did at the hospital.

I hope that you are feeling better. Take care.
