PhotoHunt: Bling

Boston's beloved Red Sox team (well, beloved here with the exception of last year's play) has won two World Series Championships recently: 2004, when they finally broke the curse of the "Bambino" - Babe Ruth - and 2007. It was a truly fun time in Boston sport history.

My 'bling' this week is courtesy of an older gentlemen who has worked at Fenway Park, home to the Red Sox, for over 50 years. I took Ty on the Fenway Park tour last year and met him.

That's very special bling! I love it and what a great fun tour you took Ty on. Big hugs from the west coast.

Hi M, wow those rings are really cool. That's so cool that you & Ty were able to bump into this guy. Definitely some serious "bling". I hope your Red Sox do well this upcoming season. I always cheer them on whenever I watch them play because of my two Red Sox Blogging friends.

M, I noticed on other photohunters following Sandi's PhotoHunt that the theme is "Bliss" and thought I would mention it to you. I think a Red Sox championship in 2012 inspired by their past wins brings a lot of Bliss to their fans so I think it totally works on both takes.

Have a great weekend! And Go Sox!

Who was this guy and do people that work at Fenway park get rings?

I don't know what to think about this year for the Sox. Will be interesting if nothing else. Not to excited about no LF, RF, and SS to start the year...
